You’ll find our gallery of homes range in price—from $200,000 to more than $1,000,000; and size—from 2,000 to 7,000 square feet.
But, no matter what end you’re leaning towards, you’ll find one thing to be the same across the board: our clearly-defined process to help your visions for your dream home become a reality.
Here’s the step-by-step process you can expect:
- Meet with Highland Builder’s owner & CEO, Kevin. Discuss all of the details on the lot you want to build on, and how to make the most of the area you own!
- Consolidate your ideas & establish desired specifications. Continue to work with Kevin to bring your visions to life based on your budget.
- Team up with an experienced home designer or architect. Find one on your own or choose from our list of accredited partners to help develop a custom plan or search for and modify an existing plan within our portfolio to best meet your specifications. Many builders offer this as an “extra” service, but not us! We specialize in this area.
- Work with design professionals. Make final decisions for materials, finishes, and other customized features. This is done by utilizing our access to first-rate showrooms, plus a team of design professionals and product experts to help guide you through this critical step in the process. Thus, making your house into a home.
- Prepare contract documents & review updated cost estimates. We’ll handle this on your behalf to save you time and stress. And, if you need it, we’ll help you find optimal financing options.
- Construction begins! That is, as soon as we have an agreement and the necessary permits in place. Then, you’ll get complete access to the contractors working on your home, and, of course, to the team at Highland Builders.
- Conduct a new home orientation. Once the construction phase is complete, Kevin will meet with you to walk through your new home and ensure everything looks and feels just the way you envisioned.
- Complete necessary warranty work. Supervise the contractors to guarantee the projects are completed to your satisfaction.
- Move-in day! Your custom-built home dreams have come true. Now, you can relax knowing we’re here to provide you with any support you need long after your warranty period passes.
